Happy Mothers Day...in the mind of a four year old!

Cameron brought me home a Mothers Day gift that he made at preschool. He simply could not wait to give it to me on Mothers day so i opened it early. He made me this card and i'm assuming the teacher asked him what to say. It is a little fuzzy so i will read it. It cracked me up
My mom is 10 years old
My mom is prettiest when she goes to dinner
My mom like to make dinner (actually one of my least favorite things to do)
My mom always says stop ( so true...i guesss it could have been much worse)
My mom is funny when she laughs
Here is the flower he made me....what a wonderful boy i have, even though he drives me crazy most of the time!

Collin update!

I finally got Collin into the doctor the other day for his 6 month check-up but he is 8 months old. I have been a busy and we had to cancel our last appt. He is doing great and the doctor said he is developing great! He weighs 20.3 lbs (58%), and he is 29 inches (86%) He continues to be such a joy and he is close to crawling. I went shopping for him the other day and i couldn't resist these cute shirts.
He is even holding a sippy cup now!

This shirt says is all! When we feed him he makes noices the entire time and we can't shovel in the food fast enough for him. Feed me is what he is trying to say!

Weekend without the kiddos!

A few weeks ago we attended a wedding in Seattle. We dropped the kids off in Mt. vernon and we headed down south for an enjoyable weekend without the kids. The wedding was amazing and the reception was at the Space Needle. It was sure nice to have some time to ourselves and to see old friends. Thanks again mom for watching the boys!

Run Home Cameron!

Here is the video of Cameron on 3rd and when the girl hit the ball he decided to fetch the ball for the other team. These T-ball players remind me of a bunch of dogs....they all compete to get the ball, even if it entitles a dog pile!

T-Ball!

Cameron started T-ball last week and he had his first game this week. It was pretty comical to say the least. There are no big rules, it's just a way to get the kids to understand how the game is played. At one point in the game Cameron was on 3rd base and the other team hit the ball and he ran to get the ball instead of running home. I got it on video but it takes too long to download. Hopefully this video works okay. I didn't mean to put Collin on here first but this is what entertained him...Teething bisquits...bon appetite!
Here is the big man waiting to hit the ball!

Here is the big hit!

Park season!

Today i decided to take the boys to the park. The sun had finally decided to come out so i thought i better take advantage of it. It has been pretty dreary lately which is uncommon for this area. I can't wait for some hot weather! It's hard to get good pictures of Cameron at home so i thought i might have better luck at the park. It worked!
Collin just hung out in the stroller. The wind was blowing slightly and he thinks it's funny. The wind still takes his breath away because he breathes through his nose. As you can tell it was alittle bright for him (squinty eyes).

Driving the pirot ship.

Taking a spin on the swing deal

Down by the river...actually posing! We had a nice relaxing time today and mommy will be back to the circus act of nursing school next week....can't wait!

Determined Eater...or drinker!

Yesterday i had just finished feeding Collin and he wanted more food (big surprise), so i made him a bottle. I then handed him the bottle and to my surprise he just sat there and tipped it up. It cracked me up! However i did pick him up shortly after and let him finish in my arms.
I had been drinking this juice box while i was feeding Collin yesterday. I sat it on his tray and he decided to give it a try. He didn't really know how to use the straw so i squeezed the box to let him try it. He hasn't tried juice yet and i'm trying to avoid it as much as possible. Cameron has been a juice aholic most of his life so i'm trying to encourage milk & water with Collin.

I think he could be the new Minute Maid model?
