Christmas day activities

I had never been snow shoeing before so my mom and i decided to adventure out and try it. Dave volunteered to watch the boys so we took full advantage of the opportunity. Here we are getting ready to go.
When we finished our hike we ran into my Matt, Louis (Matt's girlfriend) and Ryan who went cross country skiing. Here is a nice pic of them and Matt's typical facial expression

Ohhh, the happy couple!

The fam dam

Ryan wanted to ditch the snowboard one day and ski with me. He did very well and we were about the same level so it was pretty humorous. We both had our skiies in a pie position and i could not stop laughing when he was in front of me. We looked like a we were toddlers plowing down the hill

Going Home!

We all were not looking forward to the long drive home. Since we live in Eastern WA we went a different route than my family. We all started out driving together and Ryan and i were a head of them most of the time. Soon we realized that we had missed our turn and went over the wrong pass. We were both not happy campers! So we took and exit and saw my parents drive by and we called them to have them show us the way they were going. We were going to have to take the long way home. Our exuse for missing the turn was there was a truck driving in front of us on the pass and he slipped on some ice and ran into a cement wall. The accident pretty much scared the crap out of both of us and Ryan drove cautiously after we witnessed that. So we stopped by Mt. Vernon and had dinner and let the kids burn some energy. We then headed home and the kids slept most of the way. Here is a pic of the boys doing a little non-nutritive sucking on the final ride home.

Update....finally!

This blog may be offensive to some but i couldn't resist when Ryan's b-day came around. I made Collin a monkey cake this year, Cameron a train cake and Ryan's favorite double D delite! Things have been busy for us so that's why i havn't updated in while. We are all healthy and looking forward to our Christmas vacation at Sunpeaks! I just finished school yesterday and i did the best i have ever done yet! This whole nursing thing is slowly coming to me and i am getting more and more comfortable. I am currently working on the pediatric unit and it's alittle scary but i do enjoy the NICU babies alot! I still can't believe how fast it is going and that people are going to trust me with their lives... Anyways we are all doing good and are taking it day by day over here.

Two happy boys in the bath!

Poney tail and Halloween

Collin's hair is sure growing, we couldn't resist to give him a cool rat tail!
This year Collin was a monkey and Cameron was a transformer. The pics that i took of Cameron got deleted so that's why i dont have any of him. Here is the busy monkey though

Disney on ice!

In October i was watching the news one night and they mentioned that Disney on Ice was going to be in our area that weekend. I remember going to the ice capades when i was younger and i really enjoyed it. Ryan was working that night and i was a little hesitant about taking both of the boys by myself but i thought about it and decided to go for it. It worked out great and Cameron was fascinated with the cars characters. Collin did pretty well also but we didnt end up staying the entire time. All in all i was glad i did it and i would recommend it to anyone with kids!

Here is the 20 dollar spinning thing i bought Cameron. I can't believe how much this crap costs at events like this...

Pumpkin Patch!

This weekend our friends came up from Seattle and they wanted us to go with them to the pumpkin patch. I have been putting off the whole pumpkin patch idea because the last time i took Cameron when he was two he was a complete wreck. So i thought i had better be a good mom and try it again. Cameron was better but he was pretty tired and grouchy. However,Collin was a trooper and enjoyed himself.
A rare pic of Collin and I

Think this kid needs a haircut? I can't get myself to do it..

The happy couple...Kim & AJ

Collin thought this large animal looked like his dog Ruby. I think if we would have let him he would have rolled all over this cow just like he rolls around on Ruby

More Pumpkin Patch

Cameron took a ride on the airplane ride. It was quite frustrating to watch because the little girl who sat in front of him didnt want to pull the handle to move them in the air so they were the only two who rode around near the ground the whole time.
Happy on the hay bales
