Cameron & Mama made it one year! (only one more to go)

Cameron made it through his first year of preschool! It was a little rough in the beginning but he finally learned the rules of the trade. He is our strong willed child and had a hard time in the beginning but it got much better in the end. He is routine oriented and does not respond well to change so the teachers made an effort to give him fair warning when they were going to change activities. I think we may have an anal retentive child on our hands....i think its a Protsman trait. Anyways this is a video of his end of year program and he did fairly well. I would also like to announce my accomplishment of finishing my first year of nursing school! I have two weeks left and i can't even believe i made it. I am enjoying school much more than i thought i would and my favorite clinical was in the Labor & delivery unit. It was so much fun assisting with the birth process and i think i might want to work in the L&D when i finish school. Horray for Cameron and mommy, only one more year of preschool & nursing school!

Cameron & Collin Dirt!

Do i need to explain here? Were thinking about changing the boys hair. These mulets sure fits them both.
Mr. Collin Dirt!

Cheese!

Our happy man!

Mr. Collin is still the happiest little guy ever! He is getting on all fours lately but has not figured out how to move on all fours. He does army crawl to different things around the room. I remember with Cameron i couldnt wait until he crawled but with Collin i am enjoying every minute of non-mobility. He has 8 teeth now and is pretty much eating everything! He likes to feed himself most of the time and i'm loving that part of his independence. Hats off to the happy man!
His new Mariners hat! Can you tell he likes to eat, every picture we take he is in his high chair!

Attempting to feed himself with a spoon.

Happy Mothers Day...in the mind of a four year old!

Cameron brought me home a Mothers Day gift that he made at preschool. He simply could not wait to give it to me on Mothers day so i opened it early. He made me this card and i'm assuming the teacher asked him what to say. It is a little fuzzy so i will read it. It cracked me up
My mom is 10 years old
My mom is prettiest when she goes to dinner
My mom like to make dinner (actually one of my least favorite things to do)
My mom always says stop ( so true...i guesss it could have been much worse)
My mom is funny when she laughs
Here is the flower he made me....what a wonderful boy i have, even though he drives me crazy most of the time!

Collin update!

I finally got Collin into the doctor the other day for his 6 month check-up but he is 8 months old. I have been a busy and we had to cancel our last appt. He is doing great and the doctor said he is developing great! He weighs 20.3 lbs (58%), and he is 29 inches (86%) He continues to be such a joy and he is close to crawling. I went shopping for him the other day and i couldn't resist these cute shirts.
He is even holding a sippy cup now!

This shirt says is all! When we feed him he makes noices the entire time and we can't shovel in the food fast enough for him. Feed me is what he is trying to say!

Weekend without the kiddos!

A few weeks ago we attended a wedding in Seattle. We dropped the kids off in Mt. vernon and we headed down south for an enjoyable weekend without the kids. The wedding was amazing and the reception was at the Space Needle. It was sure nice to have some time to ourselves and to see old friends. Thanks again mom for watching the boys!
